Chainsaw Man, Vol. 8". Viz Media. Archived from the original on September 15, 2021 . Retrieved September 15, 2021.

Following the death of her mother, Fourth East highschooler Asa Mitaka isolates herself from society, fearing that she would never lead a stable normal life. Her life changes forever when one day, a student in contract with the Justice Devil kills her, Yoru the War Devil arrives, saving her. Now Asa has been reborn as the War Devil's vessel while sharing her abilities as a Fiend Host. As revealed during a Stage Presentation at the 2021 Jump Festa event in Japan, the manga will now focus on Denji attending school and trying to balance his new life with his responsibility as the Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The series' first part, "Public Safety arc" ( 公安編, Kōan-hen), ran in Shueisha's shōnen manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 3, 2018, [1] [2] to December 14, 2020; [3] [4] following the series' conclusion in Weekly Shōnen Jump, a second part was announced to start on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online magazine. [5] On December 19, 2020, it was announced that the second part, "School arc" ( 学校編, Gakkō-hen), would feature Denji going to school. [6] The second part began serialization on July 13, 2022. [7] [8] Shueisha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on March 4, 2019. [9] As of August 4, 2023, 15 volumes have been released. [10]

The series will premiere in 2022 and whilst a specific release date has not been shared, fans are expecting the series to debut on the Fall broadcasting slate in October. In fact, women seem to be drawn and written in this way which isn't a good thing, especially because this is a Shonen Jump series. It actually makes me think of Death Note, where women were portrayed as pretty much useless outside of in-the-way or eye candy. Given the demographic of the publication, that isn't a good look. I also wouldn't doubt that the rushed feeling to this plot is due to the pressure of Shonen in the misguided belief that if it isn't big, flashy, and always moving that they'll lose readers. This article will be updated as more information on Chainsaw Man part 2 is shared online in the build-up to the manga series’ highly anticipated return next month.Chainsaw Man ( チェンソーマン , Chensōman ?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujimoto Tatsuki. The series is divided into two parts, the Public Safety Saga (officially referred to as an arc) and the Academy Saga. The Public Safety Saga, which contains 97 chapters, follows Denji as the main protagonist. The ongoing Academy Saga introduces a new main protagonist, Asa Mitaka. Chainsaw Man, vol. 6] (in Japanese). Questionable motivations aside, he has a heart of gold, is more intelligent than he gives himself credit (as so many kids are), and grows a LOT over the course of the series, which is of course part of the joy of reading it. I’d imagine it’s something like the feeling a teacher gets as they watch a student grow and mature.
