The other day I spotted Pampers Baby-Dry nappies in size 4 in Wilkinsons and they were reduced to half price making them pretty much the same price per nappy as Mamia. I thought this was a good time to see what the Pampers nappies were like in a bigger size. In this post I will compare these two nappy brands in this size and let you know which one delivers… The Mamia Ultra Dry Air System™ Nappy Pants range has been specially designed for your on-the-go toddler.

The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. These feature Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ technology which provides fast absorption, distributes liquid evenly and helps prevent sagging. They are soft & breathable for your baby's soft skin. A slim design allows free movement, and the resealable fasteners and super stretchy sides ensure a snug and secure fit. Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies are dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance for added peace of mind. They contain 0%* perfume and are lotion free* and latex** free. I don't have to worry about any leaks or messes with these nappies and my little boy even wears them overnight without any leaks. They fit my baby really well, the line that goes blue when the nappy is wet is a brilliant feature as I only have to peak at it to know when he needs changing instead of pulling the napoy to the side. What brands of nappy pants do you currently use most often? If you use Mamia, what other brands do you use? Pampers. We used Huggies and Sainsbury's little ones pants in the past, but they were both poor quality at the sides, the fake velcro constantly came undone and the pants would fall off. Pampers have stretchy sides so don't have this problem Ease of pulling on and off, especially if its putting nappy pants on a toddler who is potty training and who has fallen asleep Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason.

Tested by mum Megan Hicks  for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone.

Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? I already use Mamia nappies Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? No because lidl and size 6 are better fitting and bigger than the aldi size 7Add that to the results from OUR tests with parents, who liked them for all the specific reasons that we love a good nappy: I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five.

What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc.) Yes, definitely. I only ever buy pampers when they’re on offer as otherwise they’re just too expensive. We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier?I like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price. We would always choose the Mamia nappies above others on the market, even though we don't regularly shop at Aldi supermarkets. The main reason for us making a special trip to Aldi for the Mamia nappies is because they are so much cheaper than other brands. I absolutely think that they should win a Mother & Baby award! I would when we came to potty training, due to the price, but they might be too small by that stage

The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. Would a branded promotion influence your decision when purchasing nappy pants? Probably would make me more aware of new products Danni: Yes, I would absolutely recommend ALDI Nappies to my family and friends. A nice simple design and a nice low price and bar the issue I had overnight, they work perfectly.I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. I haven’t actually used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before. My go to for my toddler is pampers or huggies pull ups at nighttime. Absorbency. My toddler is potty trained and dry all day but will sometimes not wake at night to go to the toilet, resulting in an accident. I need something that will allow him to sleep if he does do a wee at night and not leak everywhere. Have you used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before? Yes I had used the size 6 nappy pants when my toddler was potty training.
